The Big-Foot has been a myth, passed down for centuries. It started with Native American folklore, then, in the 1990's, reports started rolling in from people in the US and Canada (reports from the US are mostly from the Pacific Northwest region). People also started saying they saw a similar creature in and near the Himalayas.
The reports from the US and Canada all describe a tall creature (8-10 feet) with a lot of long, reddish brown fur. The reports from areas near the Himalayas describe a creature called the yeti (or abomanable snowman) which would be the big-foot's relative.
The sientists veiws are totally different. Because of the lack of evidence that the creature is real, they believe it is just a misidentification or a hoax (a trick or staged joke).
